I designed the Asics Onitsuka Tiger collaboration shoe with BAIT by Akomplice, choosing the Colorado model to honor my home state. Named “6,200 FT” after the elevation of Carbondale, Colorado, the design features braided hiking laces and reinforced ripstop panels, inspired by the rugged Rocky Mountains. The red, white, blue, and yellow color scheme mirrors the Colorado state flag, while a ski map graphic appears on the insole and back of the hangtag, which doubles as a lift ticket.
